Then on Sunday four of us accompanied one veteran, was to have been two,on a float trip on the Lower Sacramento – which was a spectacular day and everyone caught multiple wild rainbow, only to go back to watch the 49’s lose a close game.
It is important to note that these volunteers did this at their own expense, VFFF funds from the dinner paid for the veterans. Many thanks to Andrew Harris of Confluence Outfitters & Greg Hector of Hookem Heckys Guide service for their generosity and personal time to make these two days memorable for our deserving veterans. Trips like this where the folks in the industry and volunteers alike combine efforts are just unbeatable!
