Using long two handed fly rods and a variety of Spey Casting techniques can allow fly fishers to cover large rivers for large fish. The casting techniques can also transfer to single handed casting and make you a better, more successful angler.
Flycasters will be teaching Spey Casting over two weekends in March.
March 17 - 18 and 24 - 25
There are 8 spots available - 4 openings at 8am and 4 at 11am
Four - 2 hour classes - a total of 8 hours of instruction
All classes will be taught at the casting ponds in Los Gatos Creek Park. Bring your single hand fly rod, waders and boots because we will be in the water in the casting ponds.
We have club spey rods available to borrow or you can bring your own set up.
Students MUST be able to ROLL cast.
Sign-ups will be available at February 14 club meeting
