Albert Yi, a lifelong fisherman, started flyfishing as a teenager and became devoted to the sport a few years ago. A software engineer by trade, he is a self-professed flyfishing nerd who is passionate about learning about all aspects of the sport and enjoys applying new ideas where he can.
Being a lover of small stream flyfishing, Albert saw an advertisement for tenkara rods a couple of years back and was immediately interested. After much research and application he found it to be a simple, fun, and efficient way of flyfishing small streams. In his presentation, Albert will introduce what tenkara is through its origins, equipment, and techniques.
