VAC members, Here are two opportunities to engage with others in Flycasters and the community at large. In our local watershed, South Bay Clean Creeks Coalition is organizing a Salmon Monitoring with SBCC event, Saturday 11/26 at 9am. They are meeting at 806 West Home St. Bring your waders and a four pronged rake. Details are attached and sign up is required.

NCCFFI is organizing volunteers for the Putah Creek Clean up and Restoration on January 10th. Sign up on the NCCFFI.org website. Details are attached. We will plan to arrange car pools with our Club the week before the event.

We will be posting opportunities with Save the Bay, Baykeeper and Grassroots Ecology in the near future. Stay tuned!

Update: The Saturday Event with South Bay Clean Creeks is November 29th not the 26th! It's a salmon monitoring event, so if you are interested you will need to bring waders (and a 4 pronged rake if you have one). You will be in the creek.
