HomeSeminars
Much of the interest and fun in belonging to Flycasters is learning about fly fishing from the many seminars which are organized, managed and conducted by volunteer members.  Some seminars and classes focus on varying skill levels (beginning, intermediate and advanced) allowing an angler to progress and achieve a high level of expertise.

Upcoming Casting Clinics

Accuracy, Distance and Effective Double Hauling

Tony Yap will host another casting clinic at the Los Gatos Creek casting ponds.

Tony is an expert caster and casting instructor. The key to success in fly fishing is accuracy, distance, and line control – Tony will be focusing on both.

In addition, Tony will also be addressing effective double-hauling. The double haul will add line speed and enable you to punch your fly through the wind, increase your overall distance, and take some of the workload off your rod hand. Learn Tony's secret, "Double" really means "Three".

Please see the calendar for the next scheduled seminar.

Bring your gear, sunscreen, and like
