This years annual Coastal Habitat Education and Environmental Restoration (CHEER) Dinner will be on Saturday, April 27 starting at 5:00 PM at the Gilroy Old City Hall upstairs banquet room. All are invited to attend including wives or significant others. This event will include a large number of prizes in bucket raffles and a buffet style dinner. Herman Garcia will give awards to those who have provide significant support of CHEER's work during the past year. You will enjoy an entertaining evening of story telling by Herman along with a no-host bar and delicious dinner provided by the Old City Hall Restaurant. Cost is $60/person which can be paid at the evening of the event. Raffle tickets will be sold for $1/ticket by cash or check. Last year our table was a big winner of wine and other prizes. Respond ASAP as space is limited and the event will be sold out. As many of you know, Flycasters has been a big supporter of CHEER in past years. You would not what to miss this evening, which is just once a year, and to support the great work of CHEER to protect the Uvas--Pajaro River watershed from trash and pollution and to protect Endangered Central California Steelhead in the watershed. If you have anything you would like to donate for the raffle, please contact me and I will pick the prizes up for delivery to Herman. Most anything is appropriate to donate as there is a large variety of prizes to win. I will have a few items to donate but Herman would like more.
